Rainbowasi is an independent project based in Perú and a vision that was born in 2012, focused on bridging the gap between social media and the untold cultural legacy of the Peruvian Andes.

In order to achieve this goal, Rainbowasi visited Andean communities and teamed up with the Alpaca fiber association of artisans in Sicuani, to help them access new markets through the internet. Sicuani is a town located at 11660 ft above sea level in Cusco, Peru, which involves around 30 families that support themselves mainly by farming, raising alpacas and crafting a wide variety of products made from alpaca fiber.

Rainbowasi is currently creating a rock-solid social responsability network of like-minded content creators from multiple countries and social platforms of the digital world in order to share our passion for the cultural heritage of Latin America.
Most of all, Rainbowasi project aims to break down stereotypes and to become an influential resource for other mindful projects in Latin America by sharing culture with the world.
